Hovie Creates New Built Green Brochure Series for the City of Seattle
SEATTLE, WA - 02/24/06 - Seattle graphic design firm, Design Hovie Studios, Inc., has created a new series of 7 Built Green case study brochures for the City of Seattle. Well know for its efforts in promoting Green building and remodeling, The City of Seattle developed these publications to showcase the many amazing buildings in the region that are built using environmentally friendly methods and materials.
The brochures, each with their own complementary color pallet, incorporate a unique layout that reads horizontally while maintaining a vertically formatted header. This format allows for the pieces to be easily identified in existing, vertically oriented City racks. Full of helpful tips and resources, with eye catching photography complementing the modern layout and colors, the final result is something intended to stand out and inspire.
Designed and produced in Seattle, the project was completed over 4 months under the direction of Design Hovie Studios' Creative Director Hovie Hawk and senior designer Jeni Mattson.
